Land Acknowledgement

First, given that Superstar X Inc. operates The X Shop in Tkaronto, Ontario, Turtle Island, we acknowledge that this land is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. 

Tkaronto is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Tkaronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. 

We also acknowledge (and have much to still learn about) the horrific impacts of colonialization that contributed to, and still contribute to, the opportunity for us to be here.

We are dedicated to listening to and learning more about First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, including the findings of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada regarding cultural genocide, so that we may do our part to honour the Truth and heal a path forward together.
