40 Seconds for World Mental Health Day

Hi there…..thank you for being here.

The World Health Organization reports that "every 40 seconds, someone loses their life to suicide" and that "suicide is the second leading cause of death among 15-29 year-olds."

Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay“a day for us to unite in our efforts to improve the mental health of people around the world,” and the theme selected for this year’s Day is #suicideprevention.

In support of #WorldMentalHealthDay and its call-to-action of #40seconds for #mentalhealth, The X Team has co-created this 40-second video.

Please join us by taking your version of #40seconds of action to also show you care. For some action ideas from the World Health Organization, click here.

How does mental health impact you?

What do you do to sustain your mental health?

What helps you when you're struggling?

What message of hope would you give someone who is struggling?

What action would you like leaders to take on mental health?

How can we help each other to prevent suicide?

We'd love to hear your thoughts on whatever you're comfortable sharing in the comments below and of course we'd also love it if you shared this post and/or this video!

And...if you feel like shopping for something out of this world that gives back in this world*, save 20% for a limited time on all purchases inside The X Shop with this code: SUPERSTARYOU
